The Lab Performance and Nutrition is a state of the art training facility established in 2016 by three passionate, experienced and friendly Personal Trainers, Nutritionists and Physical Therapists in South County Dublin.
The Lab prides itself on its friendly and positive training environment. Our client base ranges from people that have never stepped foot in a studio to world class athletes preparing for competition.
Ages range from 12 years old up well into the 70s! Each and every client and their individual needs are catered for equally by our knowledgeable, experienced team.
The team here at The Lab take an holistic approach to training. We look at health from a 360 degree point of view, promoting not only physical but nutritional, mental and spiritual wellbeing to all our clients.
Austin is an enthusiastic personal trainer and sports nutritionist who leads by example having devoted his life to health and wellbeing. Alongside his Personal Training qualifications he is also a student of The Functional Medicine University and a very active martial arts competitor (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) on the national and international scene.
Living and working out of South County Dublin, Austin uses his in-depth training, nutritional and functional medicine knowledge to help his clients set and achieve their personal fitness and wellbeing goals in a friendly, positive and fun atmosphere.
Not just your typical physical personal trainer, Austin takes a holistic whole body approach to training his clients looking at all aspects of their training, nutrition, lifestyle and hormonal profile to get them the best results possible. Whilst pushing his clients hard, his passionate and energetic approach to his work creates healthier, happier people from the inside out.
As a highly qualified, respected and proven personal trainer, Lindsey’s passion and drive for reaching fitness and health goals is contagious. Lindsey is a national and international kickboxing champion; she also competes in BJJ and MMA. Throughout her years of elite training she fell in love with strength training, nutrition and reaching goals. Her natural tendency to help others along with her insatiable drive to succeed and deep understanding of training drew her to specialise in personal training and programme design.
Through working with Lindsey you can expect a personable, friendly and professional approach. She believes in setting realistic, achievable health and fitness goals while pushing you forward to your realise your full potential.
Damian’s interest in fitness started when he took his first taekwondo class aged 4. Since then Damian has been a keen and dominant competitive martial artist winning various national and international titles in amateur and professional kickboxing. He followed his passion for health and wellbeing and qualified as a personal trainer and sports therapist.
Damian uses his lifetime of training knowledge to push his clients and help them to achieve their goals and more inside and outside the gym. Damian also specialises in injury rehab and prides himself on his ability to coach clients back to full health, oftentimes stronger and more functional than before their injury.

One to one
Targeted strength and HIIT training for groups of 8 people max. This combination of intense calorie burning training can be done up to 3 times per week for as little as €129 per month (€9.90 avg. per class!). This is The Labs most affordable training package and is suitable for people looking for accountability at a great rate.
This is a 12 site bodyfat assessment which provides you with a hormonal profile, linking each site to potential hormone imbalances that may be preventing progress in your training and body composition goals i.e. stubborn fat storage, poor sleep, low energy, digestive issues and more.
You will meet your Nutritionist and discuss in detail the foods you are currently eating and any intolerance problems you are having. He will then devise a nutritional guide for you to follow taking into account your lifestyle and goals. Includes biosignature readings and interpretations.
Periodised physical activity post injury in order to strengthen up the previously injured muscle and get it back to optimum strength and to prevent injury in the future
Deep tissue sports massage used to loosen up tight muscles and as a form of injury prevention. We use a range of massage techniques to optimize muscle range of motion and performance thereby reducing risk of injury. Massage is also used to break down scar tissue post injury in order to allow full range of motion and full function back into the muscle while combined with rehab exercises, which our skilled therapist provides.
Once of consultations to meet with a Lab trainer and be given a programme to work on in your own gym. For people who cannot afford ongoing personal training but wish to avail of the knowledge and expertise of The Lab’s trainers and strength coaches.
For people who cannot make it to The Lab, we offer online nutritional support, which has been hugely successful. Working with clients through online food diaries and guidelines, this is a great way to increase your health and wellbeing and a great addition to any training or sports you may already participate in.
Online Nutrition Plans
Based on the concept of taking exercise and our bodies back to function, strongman training is essentially the mimicking of activities that would have been carried out in the past by only the strong men! Rope pulls and whacks, sled drags, farmer’s walks and prowler runs. Basically clients expect to be pulling, pushing, dragging, carrying, flipping, whacking and lifting a lot of things in a group of people. It isn’t easy, but it delivers a monster all over body workout!
Similar to our HIIT class in intensity but we take it up a notch by adding in some popular boxing and kickboxing techniques. This 45 minute whole body workout will help you burn up to 800 calories by keeping your body moving throughout. A brilliant stress buster too, get all the benefits of martial arts without the bruises.
